“30 minutes before trying to check in at HomeGate Hotel in Louisville, I made reservation online to speed up check in. This was well after normal check in time around 7 pm. We had a service animal with us. We were informed that there would be a $500 extra charge as well as the $100 cleaning fee. I explained that the dog is registered. The manager was very rude when I tried to explain that the ADA covers service animals without extra charges. Never got key and was told he could not refund……

“The hotel is older with current updated renovations with new paint, flooring, decor. Room had nice amenities with a microwave, refrigerator, and was handicap accessible. The bottom inch around the shower needed a good scrubbing as mold and mildew were growing.
