“The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy.……

“This is a beautiful property managed by lovely people. Service is impeccable from Jay the doorman to the lobby to the ladies that clean our rooms. Exceptionally clean, so comfortable. One of my guests decided just to sleep the day away in that comfortable bed. There is an activity throughout the day from the wonderful breakfast to cookies and cream at night I highly recommend and I look forward to returning to Charleston and staying in at this beautiful hotel.”
