“We’ve been vacationing in the area for 30+ years and this is our first time on Fripp. The villa is above the islands convenience store and gift shop. There is an outside elevator but unknown how to use it. When we arrived we found that we needed a code to access the rental that was not provided. Communication was through text so it was easy to communicate but took some time. First night was great although it would be nice if there were extra blankets. “We have come to this complex for the past eight years. It’s the best place on Hilton Head. This time we stayed in Nancy and John’s apartment and we loved it. “Pros: air condition works great, convenience if you like to take the stairs- they bring you right to the beach entrance (elevators are on the far end of the building away from the beach). There are stairs at the bottom of the beach boardwalk so you have to carry your wagon down if you bring one. Pull out couch mattress was comfortable. Nice sink, dishwasher, countertops. Parking easy, check in was easy. Cons: shower water pressure hardly enough to wash your hair, no bathtub (if you have kids),……
