“Great communication with host. View onto the lake is stunning. Plenty of furniture outside to enjoy the view. Location is pretty central to Wendy’s Market, Elgin and Westport to stock up on groceries. House had all we needed (laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, clean towels/linens. AC was nice to have as it was hot during our stay. House was cleaned nicely for our arrival. ”

“My wife and I had a great stay for our anniversary weekend! Beautiful private island with lots of yard space for the dog to run around! The cottage has everything you need and lots of seating both indoors and out. We especially loved the access to the boathouse keeping our boat protected from the elements! A short trip to the Ivy Restaurant gave us a break from cooking responsibilities for a night and provided a beautiful view looking back toward the island. We had an amazing stay and can’t wait……

“We were a large party of 15. There was ample room that no one got in anyone’s way. Soooo much for everyone to be entertained. Can’t swim off the dock but the use of kayaks etc was amazing. Game room was a hit as was the hot tub. Massage chair was amazing. Property was large and beautiful. Private spot so we didn’t need to be afraid that we were too noisy. Plenty of essentials provided for cooking. Very responsive host. ”

“Cozy, clean, calm, cottage with canoes! We stayed here once two summers ago and my son asked us about it this year, prompting us to plan another getaway. We booked two nights for us and our friends with their toddler. We spent the whole time in or around the house or the beach, relaxing. Kayaking on the river and seeing the goats are highlights each time. Renfu is very hospitable, answering all our questions and keeping the grounds tidy.
