“The room is nice and the biggest we have had in Japan. It was very quite at night since there was only one other guest but on a different floor. Great free drip coffee and chill area downstairs. The self check-in was easy if you use the pre-check in option. There is no staff but everything is explained very well with pictures in the book that is provided.”

“Lovely, charming ryokan exactly as pictured. The omakase dinner was amazing and the breakfast was also very welcome. It’s in a very quiet part of the village so it’s very peaceful. One of the rooms has a patio great for chilling out and it’s almost dark enough at night to take photos of the Milky Way. On a side note, I initially just wanted to drop my bags off in morning, but to my surprise, the owner allowed me to check-in early! Highly recommended stay. Some things to note: - There’s a shop……
