“Great location!! 5 minute walk to beach, shops, dining! Property was perfect size for a couples getaway. Had a Spectrum issue but was resolved quickly by owner and he even brought a bigger TV !! Very cozy setting, nice outdoor sitting area. We stayed in the back cottage and didn’t have any issues with the other guest in front cottage. “This was a super cute house that was perfect for our family's short visit. It was clean, and the pictures of the property were very accurate - definitely a cottage! Location was walkable to shops and the ferry. There was a thoughtful welcome note and amenity, which was a nice touch! There was a lot of construction on the island, so it was noisy... not the owner's fault. Bring a sound machine, because it's a busy island!”

“A gem of a home. The location can’t be beat and I really appreciated that this cottage is clean and bright. It is pretty bare bones as far as extras ( no ice maker or trays to make ice, no wine opener (although I added one), I did not find an iron or extra pillows so I bought a couple and added to the house). There are plenty of bath towels and beach towels ( no beach chairs ) and two coffee makers and plenty of coffee. My adult son went to use the hot tub but it was turned off so we figured the……

“The house was as described. It was great! Plenty of towels, utensils and pots/pans. The provided soap/shampoo was helpful as well! There were many fans which were needed because a lot of the windows do not open. That would be our only complaint. Roughly half the windows don't open and the majority of the others need an additional piece of something to hold them open. One window in the casita was broken from the start. It was locked at only an inch open which greatly restricted air flow. On hot……

We never got a response. We tried to contact hotels.com with no success. We finally were able to speak to someone at The Evolve Team, which is the company that manages this vacation rental. “We had the best time at Pineapple Cottage. It had everything we needed, was walking distance to shopping and dining, and the hosts, Elena and Kye, made us feel so welcome! They welcomed us with all the info needed to experience the area. We will be back! ”
