“Very nice, clean, well maintained property, still has the smell of fresh pine from what we assume is a fairly recent renovation. The property owner was very responsive to messages.It's about 30 minutes from the nearest gas station (neither a pro or a con, just a feature). There are neighboring properties but it doesn't feel cramped or touristy. There's no cell service but we set up wifi calling and it worked just fine (my primary concern is emergencies).This was our first time using Vrbo and……

“First, “ host” never sent any messsges; never responded to any of my emails. The place was already occupied, despite my having a confirmation! The property outside was overgrown, empty bottles/trash spread everywhere. Outdoor cats roaming on property. Current occupants allowed me to come in. The inside was very dirty, mess all over floor. The occupant kindly called “ host” who first thought I had wrong address.The occupant confirmed, with my printout of everything, that my info was correct and……

“We had a lovely, restful family vacation at this comfortable, adorable cottage. Central air was a plus as we stayed during a period of high heat and low air quality, a short walk down to the lake and the kitchen was stocked with necessary items and plenty of storage. We would absolutely rent again! ”
