“My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places.”

“8 college friends gathered at this property, a short drive to Sacandaga Lake. Large fully stocked kitchen, dining room seats 10, living room with fireplace and TV, plenty of sleeping space. Was easily able to communicate with owner and hope to return soon.”

You can tell there was a lot of love and care put into this property! There is so much to offer, and the owners made is that much better. “Rustic cabin. Small beach is 1/4 walk. Nice outdoor area at cabin. Limited outlets, none in bathroom. Heating consists of a few space heaters. One AC upstairs in flex room and some fans. Nice furniture and appliances. Glad we could bring our dog.”

“The cabin was just as described. The owners contacted us ahead of time with arrival information and key codes. We had a lovely weekend stay! I also appreciate being able to bring our family dog! Would definitely recommend. ”

Since it was her first year, we decided to take some family time before we said goodbye.. it was a nice, cozy place to stay, and the kids loved the ability to head to the beach each day. We also enjoyed being able to see and hear the wild life daily. “The cottage was definitely older but was clean. The bathroom looked like it been redone recently and the kitchen had everything you would need to prepare your meals. The view from the cottage is much better than the impression you get from the online photos. The best part about the property is the location. The Griffis Road Marina is in a very secluded cove and is very calm. We had our Seadoo docked there for 6 days and rode over 200 miles during our stay. The Lake is Beautiful with many small……
