“Enkelt hotell med mycket bra läge i Funchal. Plus för att det fanns balkong och ingick frukost. Minsks för att duchmunstucket i duschen var katastrof, samt kuddarna i sängen var alldeles för tunna. Är man känslig för hårda sängar ska man inte välja det här hotellet, men för mig gjorde det inget. ”

“I didn't realise when booking but this hotel is in the most perfect location. Within a very short walk there are 2 fantastic cable cars, one takes you down into Funchal the other down the mountainside to a botanical garden. Around the corner you can get a toboggan 2km down the hill towards Funchal which was great fun! Again a 2 minute walk to a really stunning botanical garden and palace. For 6 euros you can get a return service bus up into the mountains for some incredible walks/views. The……

“Great location, easy to find and get into but lots of stairs up to my room- no elevator available for those who may need one. If I were to visit again I would probably not stay in Funchal- I didn’t realize it was a cruise ship port, so the streets were always busy. Plenty of good nearby restaurants as a result though. The biggest thing that turned me off about the property was the absence of an on site person- as a result, it felt more like an air bnb… communication through the app was great……
