“La casa estaba genial, comoda y muy bien ubicada y con entretenimiento para los niños. La unica pega es que entraban al recinto de la casa porque aparecian movidas las cosas en el jardín cuando alquilas una casa esperas que nadie entre salvo que necesites algun tipo de ayuda durante la estancia.”

“Our family of 10 enjoyed our stay at this house. It is massive with room for everyone to spread out. The kids loved having room to run around outside and were thrilled with the trampoline and pool table. The pool is not heated, so it was a bit chilly during our stay in early May, but the kids still took a dip. The hot tub was lovely. The view was the best part. Absolutely stunning view of the ocean. Management was responsive and helpful when we reached out to fix a couple things. Everything……

“Quiet neighborhood that is notably separate from the hustle and bustle of Funchal. There is much greenery below the property before more structures exist which helps keep the surroundings quiet. The glass railings give relief from the winds and the hot tub is nicely positioned. There is covered lounging furniture for when the afternoon showers come which still allows you to sit outside. The glass railings were a bit dirty and the hot tub was not as warm as we prefer when we arrived. I……

“The home is high on a hill, modern and very clean. The pool is wonderful and a perfect temperature. We stayed for 1 month. Beatrice met us at the house and responded to our questions quickly. The cleaning crew came in once a week which was fantastic We were not prepared for how steep and narrow the roads were in our area, but it appears to be the norm. My husband eventually became an expert driver. Madeira is a wonderful place to visit. We are happy we chose An Island Apart. ”

“We celebrated my moms 75th birthday. Her bucket list consisted of seeing Portugal where her family was from. We started our vaca in Madeira at this beautiful home. It was spacious, clean and a perfect place for family to gather. We felt safe and truly enjoyed all the amenities... the work out room, pool table and pool. The host was easy to talk to and very accommodating. Truly appreciate the opportunity to rent your space. I would recommend for sure!”
