“Sehr geräumig an einer sehr steilen Straße. Fußläufig ist Funchal erreichbar aber durch die hohe Lage anstrengend. Bäcker und kleiner Supermarkt ca. 800 m entfernt. Parken an der Straße schwierig, aber möglich. Haus liegt an einer engen, steilen Straße mit regem Verkehr incl. Linienbus. Die Terrasse war, schon längere Zeit nicht mehr gereinigt worden. Zwei Liegestühle, davon einer defekt. Unbequeme Esstischstühle. TV nur pay TV und alles für britische Gäste. Besen und Kehrblech wäre schön. ”

“A very large beautiful home. Disappointed that there was no welcome pack on arrival (milk, eggs, etc). Very limited glassware - only one beer glass! Cupboards were very bare of any basics other than S&P etc. the coffee machine provided wa for pods - none supplied - so hard to source - could have been a simple French press/caffitiere/plunger - but none found. We did have a fantastic stay though ”

“The property was lovely. The view was spectacular. The pool was lovely other than that the underwater lights didn’t work and are never going to. Big disappointment with the hot tub. It was clear that although they were telling us they were going to fix it that it’s been broken for a while and it’s not going to be fixed. They gave us a pittance back to try to make us happy, but it wasn’t enough to make anyone happy. Two of the bathrooms had absolutely foul smells coming from the drains. We……
