“Sehr geräumig an einer sehr steilen Straße. Fußläufig ist Funchal erreichbar aber durch die hohe Lage anstrengend. Bäcker und kleiner Supermarkt ca. 800 m entfernt. Parken an der Straße schwierig, aber möglich. Haus liegt an einer engen, steilen Straße mit regem Verkehr incl. Linienbus. Die Terrasse war, schon längere Zeit nicht mehr gereinigt worden. Zwei Liegestühle, davon einer defekt. Unbequeme Esstischstühle. TV nur pay TV und alles für britische Gäste. Besen und Kehrblech wäre schön. ”

“This property is as advertised. Spectacular views, no homes or construction between you and the cliffs. Huge glass doors/walls everywhere allows you to fully drink in the setting. a variety of relaxing places to sit and enjoy the views; both out in the open and under cover for when it rains. the amenities were in alignment with the property and it was easy to get in and out. we wanted a beautiful setting away from it all and this property delivered 150%. we wanted a home base on the west……

“A very large beautiful home. Disappointed that there was no welcome pack on arrival (milk, eggs, etc). Very limited glassware - only one beer glass! Cupboards were very bare of any basics other than S&P etc. the coffee machine provided wa for pods - none supplied - so hard to source - could have been a simple French press/caffitiere/plunger - but none found. We did have a fantastic stay though ”

“Das Objekt liegt sehr weit oben im Ort an einer Sackgasse. Zufahrt (letztes Stück) sehr steil. Unser Mietwagen ist mit 3 Personen und Gepäck kaum den Berg hochgekommen. Der Ausblick ist nicht wirklich super, weil ein Dach vom vorgelagerten Haus die Sicht teilweise versperrt. Der nächste (gute) Supermarkt war ca. 5 bis 6 km ganz unten im Tal am Strand entfernt. Ohne Mietwagen ist man da oben echt verloren. Die Größe war top. Die Ausstattung eher mäßig ... bis auf Kaffeeautomat. Waschmaschine und……
