“We stayed at Tom and Sharon’s river house for a bachelorette trip and loved the views and quaint house. We commented many times that we felt like we were on a river cruise! Tom was very quick to respond and accommodating leading up to our trip, but we were slightly confused by the check in process as we received a code for the door but also instructions telling us to come to the front porch to get a key and instructions of how to get to the property. “Was good for a two night stay. All we needed. Enjoyed the area.”

“This location was great for our small crew of kayakers and eBikers. There were plenty of places to drop in kayaks along the river, and the eBike trail at the end of the driveway went for many, many miles.Stuart was very helpful and quickly answered all of our questions. The gardens were beautiful, and great to hang out by the fire when night time came.”

“5 adults over Christmas. Fireplace worked well. No problem with hot water with 5 people. Double bed in one room tilted to one side. Resolved by stuffing many pillows under mattress to level bed. Few towels and dishtowels. washer and dryer superb. Great place for our Golden Retriever. Door to back yard passes cold air so heat is on most of the time. Furnaced worked real well. Safety alert:front and back porched are tiled. THEY are very slippery. We had to put rubber yoga mats on……

“New Hope was so fun for the weekend and this place was perfect! Really great walkable location although nice and quiet at night. Beds were cozy. Living room was okay cozy wise doesn’t have a true couch. But still 5 stars and would return! ”

“We had a great stay at this property, and it worked really well for our family gathering. David, the Host, was incredibly responsive, and the check-in/check-out process could not have been easier. The house was very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax without feeling crowded. The outdoor property was a real highlight — peaceful, private, and the hot tub was a perfect spot to unwind at the end of the day. “Lovely little place to stay, located near a few shops and able to travel into Philadelphia within 30 minutes. The neighborhood was very quiet no loud neighbors or dogs barking all night so that was great! It is an attached house but I didn’t hear the neighbors at all but home that we weren’t too noisy for them. Host accommodated our requests for a travel crib and toys are at the home. “We ran into issues with a toilet, dishwasher, disposal, and ice maker during our week-long stay. The grill hadn’t been cleaned which led to problems cooking dinner. The landlord was responsive, and fixed the toilet and disposal, but neither the ice maker nor dishwasher were functioning the entire week. He indicated those would be fixed for the next renters.The house was clean and in a good location. We had plenty of room for our group. Overall was satisfied with the stay.”
