“The cottage exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed a morning run from the cottage to Lake George center for coffee, then an evening fire outside with dinner on the grill. The indoor fireplace was also a lovely! I highly recommend this cottage, you will not be disappointed. We can’t wait to come back! ”

“We stayed in a tiny houss that was well equipped. Upon checking in we met Henry who works on the property. He was great, helped us get settled and answered all our questions. The site is on the Hudson and has nice views. The onsite restaurant was great too! Shout out to Rachel behind the bar and Matt our waiter.”

“I am thoroughly impressed with this property. It's incredibly clean, and in a great location to be close to the lake and the restaurants/shops of Bolton Landing. We had an amazing time detaching from the stresses of reality by playing the many games provided in the home, and relaxing. “To say this stay was perfect would seem exaggerated to some but to me it seems it doesn’t to it justice! “We were really happy with our stay- great place and location. The staff was excellent- we called about an odd smell in the place and they immediately checked and even called a plumber to double check. So 5 stars for service. “The General's Cabin was a wonderful place for my husband and me to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. The cabin was exceptionally clean. Melissa had thought of everything you could possibly need. Inside had a well-stocked kitchen, a great coffee/tea bar, lots of little extras to make the stay enjoyable, extra towels, blankets, pillows etc. In the bathrooms there was a basket of soaps, lotions, shampoos and even toothbrushes in case you forgot to bring your own.
