“This is a budget motel, and about as good as this kind of establishment gets. The room was spacious, the furnishings and fixtures modern. The extra-large refrigerator had a large separate freezer. The kitchen area had a toaster and two counter-top burners. There were numerous power outlets for charging devices. The room was very clean. The bath had a real tub, which I prefer. “I wait half an hour for the Check-in, because the owner was not at the front desk. In the Morning, I want to go in the shower, I can’t use it, because there was not a button to change it from the crane to the shower head. At next, I call the front desk. There are only two bathrooms despite having 5 bedrooms, so keep that in mind. The property seemed to be designed with a “man cave” focus, minus a pool table; large TVs in every room with a grand outdoor kitchen. We could not wait until sunrise to see the beautiful views on top of the mountain. I would caution that a good vehicle is needed to get up to the house……

“We had an awesome stay at Redwoods River Resort! The location couldn’t be better nestled right near the Avenue of the Giants with beautiful river access just steps away.
