“Loved it”

“My wife and I had stayed here several years ago and had our dogs. This time it was just me, and it was wonderful, just as I remembered it. The location is great and the cottage is clean and comfortable, with all the necessities. The neighborhood is clean and quiet and the open space by the shore is fun to explore. Add in the fact that Gill’s diner is a 3 minute walk, and perfecto! We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area.”

“This is the perfect location to explore, everything was within an hour for our adventures with kids. Beaches are super close and it’s super peaceful.”

“Wonderful small book group reunion hosted here. Well stocked kitchen and dining area and comfy areas for conversation. Love the bedrooms and natural light. Lovely to get eggs and milk at the neighborhood farm. We enjoyed Brick & Fire Bistro, the Sequoia Park Zoo & Garden, and Arcata Farmers Market. We hope to return next year”

“This was an anniversary getaway to the coastal/redwood area. We are somewhat familiar with the area, so welcomed a more remote stay location. This was the one!We were happily welcomed by the property owners and their cute dachshunds, who led the way from their main house to the cottage. We were given the tour with gracious hospitality. Long story shortened, pics do not do this property justice. The cottage was lovely, painstakingly constructed, as well as adorned. If a couple can't get comfy……

“Such a great place with beautiful views ”

“My husband and I and our Old Lady dog stayed for a long weekend. Such a lovely location! The orchard around the property was full of apple trees. We watched an amazing sunset from the Sky Deck. And we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the local beaches and redwood forests. Very beautiful. Very relaxing. The home has everything you need for your stay. ”

“We chose the boathouse to have our small dog with us. But it was a bonus for us too. It is darling decorated in the nautical theme. Our host thought of so many things to make it homey. I wasn’t sure what to expect, like napkins, paper towels and tissues, so didn’t have to go to the market right away. We would rebook if we are going to the north coast. Sorry didn’t take pictures!”
