“My family of 5 adults 2 kids and 2 large dogs all fit comfortably in the cabin. We all enjoyed camp fires, fishing from the dock, and taking the boats onto the lake. The location is peacful with no close by neighbors and about a half hour drive to Lake Superior. I was worried about bugs (house is located in the woods) but was pleasantly surprised the house didnt have spiders or cob webs inside at all. Lots of mosquitoes by the water so dont forget your bug spray. I would recommend this property……

“This home has everything you need for the perfect Great Lakes getaway. It was an ideal spot to unwind with friends and dogs — they had an absolute blast swimming in the lake! The water was surprisingly warm in the shallow area near the river, and we spent hours just relaxing in chairs set right in the water after kayaking. “This cabin was exactly what we wanted. Nestled inside the Hiawatha National Forest on the shores of beautiful Thunder Lake! The drive in is gorgeous!! We saw deer, turkeys, a couple rabbits and something we guessed was a weasel. The cabin was so comfortable, furnished with absolutely everything you’d need for a full week of fun! “Nick and Abbey did an amazing job renovating this home. It was amazing. Everything was super clean (brand new!) and house was well stocked. Beautiful views of the lake and the trails were easily accessible out of the driveway. Circle driveway was HUGE, plowed and easily handled the snowmobile trailer. While we were here to snowmobile, I believe this house would be awesome in the summer as well. Both Nick and Abbey were responsive to my questions and ensured our stay was comfortable. We are……
