“Everything about this place was amazing. The cabin was in a beautiful remote location. It was renovated and decorated beautifully. The cabin was well stocked with everything you would need. The kids loved the little playground and searching for treasures at the beach. We had to go down just a bit to get a sandy beach for swimming which was not a bad walk at all. The owners communication was great as well. We will definitely be coming back and can’t wait for the next stay! ”

“Loved the location. Very private and quiet. The only thing wrong was we had to clean the grill before we could use it. It had to be taken apart and scraped out so much funk. Also the goose poop was bad the last night we stayed and couldnt sit outside which was a real bummer. I messaged multiple times and never heard back from owners”

“This was exactly what my family and I needed to have a wonderful stay in the U.P. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed (washer/dryer were so nice to have also!!)We enjoyed fishing on the dock (caught quite a few fish) and my kids even completed a puzzle to kill some time in the evening. There weren’t really any neighbors during our time there, which made for a quiet and peaceful stay. Only complaint the amount of mosquitoes outside the cottage. Otherwise, this was by far the nicest……

“My family of 5 adults 2 kids and 2 large dogs all fit comfortably in the cabin. We all enjoyed camp fires, fishing from the dock, and taking the boats onto the lake. The location is peacful with no close by neighbors and about a half hour drive to Lake Superior. I was worried about bugs (house is located in the woods) but was pleasantly surprised the house didnt have spiders or cob webs inside at all. Lots of mosquitoes by the water so dont forget your bug spray. I would recommend this property……

“We had a fantastic stay. House was very clean. Had everything you need I think only one car went by in 4 days when we were there. No one next door so it was so peaceful. We used the Kayaks. The lake is little but so quiet. No speed boats. We will be back some day!!!! Thank You!!!!”

“This home has everything you need for the perfect Great Lakes getaway. It was an ideal spot to unwind with friends and dogs — they had an absolute blast swimming in the lake! The water was surprisingly warm in the shallow area near the river, and we spent hours just relaxing in chairs set right in the water after kayaking. The private beach is truly secluded — we rarely saw anyone else. It was the perfect setup for a refreshing cold plunge in the lake followed by a quick rinse and a soak in the……

“The cabin was wonderful and in a very quiet location. It was in a good location for traveling between many waterfalls and trekking trails. Driving between locations was joy due to the fall foliage. We enjoyed our stay and will be putting this cabin on our return list. ”
