“This is a very unique B&B that has a lot of history. The views from the deck and out of the main floor dining/lounge are beautiful. Our room was very spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The artwork around the the whole place is amazing and just added to the beauty of the property. The owners are very accommodating, loved to tell the story of the area, and took care of all our questions and needs. They have traveled quite a bit themselves so they know what a traveler likes to see. Breakfast……

“Nice property in a very convenient location very close to the state park. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It was only 30 minutes drive from Anchorage airport. They do keep a deposit of $250, I got it back in two days. Will recommend this property. ”

“Room 301 was decorated very attractively. Great kitchenette that is stocked with nice dishes and silverware, Keurik coffee maker. Stayed 3 nights and happy with the stay. Used washer and dryer in the building. Stairs into this top of the building room are steep. Could be a problem for someone with knee or hip pain or disability. Otherwise a great room. ”

“Small older lakefront property with excellent dining room and service. Dock allows for boat and float plane access. Water sport equipment available for rent. Excellent front desk staff. Clean comfortable room although no maid service during our stay, towels available upon request. About a 10-minute drive to Wasilla.”

“It was a good value for what i needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Their continental breakfadt was pretty good and better than a lot of places. The only thing i didnt really like was that the room was hot in the afternoon time (on side of hotel with sun) but it cooled down a lot once the sun was hitting it directly. Other than that it was an OK place.”
