“This quaint little place was all it was advertised! From the welcome video to the rose petal heart on the bed, the place had all the little things that made the stay incredible. Sitting out by the coy pond and watching the doe and her fawn walk over to us was the start of a great evening. Laying back on the bed and watching the satellites fly over was amazing. Hope they have a return guest discount, we would come back!”

“This is a small property but for us was perfect, 3 adults. Extremely clean, well stocked. House was comfortable. Owner was super with communications and found us an excellent fishing guide that I would highly recommend - New River Gorge Outfitters. The home was close to Pipestem State park and an hour or so from main hiking trails near Fayetteville. Staying in Hinton was perfect for us. Not a lot of restaurants so be sure to bring groceries. There is a Kroger not too far away but we didn't go……

“House was advertised. Clean and more than sufficient size wise. We only overnighted there as we were passing through to South Carolina but we certainly enjoyed exploring the house and it’s history. ”

“This place is great... owners are great people plenty of room in the house. Being 3 levels with garage and a yard.. very nice layout we had 2 adults and 4 kids and it felt just like home not a hotel being cramped up.. would definitely go back there is some beautiful scenery around the area”

“Very nice property along the river. Only thing that I could possibly complain about is the bed in the single cabin uses to be a double when our family stayed before now it's more like a bunk bed not suitable for a couple and the pillows on it are so heavy you can't even pick them up. Maybe update the photos to all the new work done that looks so nice since we last stayed.”

“This house was nicer than the photos! It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with implements to make a delicious surf and turf dinner. 1st floor bath had a wonderful shower and the queen beds were great. Host was very responsive and helpful. The view was breathtaking and the area had a lot to offer.”

“If you’re looking for a unique, off the beaten path type of place to stay while in the Princeton area, this is for you. Just 3/4 mile off Hwy 460, sits what we called “Granny’s Cabin”. Rustic and austere but with all the basic conveniences. Easy access to Princeton and surrounding state parks. Don’t forget to try Dab’s Country Kitchen in Princeton as well. Fantastic food!”

“Our family needed a quick getaway to just regroup and enjoy each other’s company. We found the perfect house to accommodate us. We came to West Virginia and enjoyed our weekend.”

“Cute and sizeable home with plenty of room for a larger group. Convenient to Beckley and some of the best recreational activities in WV. Although on the main road through Beaver, it is quiet and safe. We definitely would stay here again!”

“Plenty of room for gathering in a convenient location. Very useful to have garages for the side by sides and super clean and updated inside the home. Plenty of hot water! We enjoyed the Bluestone River by a fire outside each evening. Would highly recommend a stay. ”
