“The property is an affordable option if you want to visit New River Gorge and not pay hundreds per night at the resort or tent camp in order to do so. For the price you get a clean, air conditioned place to stay with a basic kitchen and great shower, which is perfect for after a day of hiking or other activities. You can't walk to get anywhere and it's a 15-20 minute drive into town, so just plan accordingly. The host is very responsive and helpful. ”

“This quaint little place was all it was advertised! From the welcome video to the rose petal heart on the bed, the place had all the little things that made the stay incredible. Sitting out by the coy pond and watching the doe and her fawn walk over to us was the start of a great evening. Laying back on the bed and watching the satellites fly over was amazing. Hope they have a return guest discount, we would come back!”

“This is a small property but for us was perfect, 3 adults. Extremely clean, well stocked. House was comfortable. Owner was super with communications and found us an excellent fishing guide that I would highly recommend - New River Gorge Outfitters. The home was close to Pipestem State park and an hour or so from main hiking trails near Fayetteville. Staying in Hinton was perfect for us. Not a lot of restaurants so be sure to bring groceries. There is a Kroger not too far away but we didn't go……

Only thing that I could possibly complain about is the bed in the single cabin uses to be a double when our family stayed before now it's more like a bunk bed not suitable for a couple and the pillows on it are so heavy you can't even pick them up. Maybe update the photos to all the new work done that looks so nice since we last stayed.”

“This little house was quite roomy and cozy. The host provided check-in and WiFi information on request only, but responded quickly to all our questions. WiFi was spotty, which probably isn't unusual this deep in the countryside. The washer was broken when we got there. The kitchen cupboards were full, yet I couldn't find a matching lid for the big pot, nor was there a ladle. There were 2 versions of the check-out instructions: one unedited one on the living room table, and one edited one in the……

“This house was nicer than the photos! It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with implements to make a delicious surf and turf dinner. 1st floor bath had a wonderful shower and the queen beds were great. Host was very responsive and helpful. The view was breathtaking and the area had a lot to offer.”

“If you’re looking for a unique, off the beaten path type of place to stay while in the Princeton area, this is for you. Just 3/4 mile off Hwy 460, sits what we called “Granny’s Cabin”. Rustic and austere but with all the basic conveniences. Easy access to Princeton and surrounding state parks. Don’t forget to try Dab’s Country Kitchen in Princeton as well. Fantastic food!”

“Cute and sizeable home with plenty of room for a larger group. Convenient to Beckley and some of the best recreational activities in WV. Although on the main road through Beaver, it is quiet and safe. We definitely would stay here again!”
