“The BIG house is indeed spacious and was extremely clean! We enjoyed grilling and sitting out on the upper and lower deck/patio. The river view is calm and serene! Although the owners are very transparent about the train noise (…it was indeed loud and numerous!), I wish there was more transparency with the proximity to the General Store, which includes a gas station. “This was a great space for our family of five. The beds were comfy, there were plenty of bath towels, and lots of space to spread out. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio. The location was perfect, lots of shopping and dining options near by. The host was awesome with communication, very quick to answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Our host was gracious and prompt with responses.The house was clean, modern, spacious. The game room and hot tub were a real hit with both kids and adults. The dining table seats 8 (our family size) comfortably, and it was so very convenient to have 3 bathrooms. Having an outdoor fire pit is a lovely idea, but the land is so slanted that we decided to give it a pass. Also, there is very little outside area where kids can play. However, I still rate it a 5 for other reasons.”

“I can't say enough great things! This little cabin was so peaceful, exactly what my dogs and I needed! The place is old but well maintained, just what you would expect in a mountain cabin! The yard was cut and easy to walk my dogs in! There is a fire pit and grill, we didnt use them because my one dog is older and gets cold easily. The location is superb! “We loved this house, so much character. The owner was so sweet and helpful. We cooked and ate our meals here (you can even do a grocery pickup at the Kroger which is not far away). We loved listening to the river, and truly just enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back!”
