“We stayed at the River Bend cabin for a few days at the end of summer to visit with friends who have a house on Lake Sacandaga. The cabin was PERFECT for us! It has a large property that sits back from the road and is pretty secluded with the creek winding around 3 sides of the house. Plenty of woods surrounding the property as well. We enjoyed the fire pit out back and the hot tub on the porch. My daughter (10) loved the loft where she slept on a blow up bed that we brought from home. The……

“We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It was very close to the Lodge at Harrisburg Lake where our extended family had a reunion. The Cottage gave us a quiet space for our family to stay, while still being close to the action. The lake is quiet and lovely, and just a short walk down the road. The incline to the lake is steep, and too difficult for anyone with ambulatory issues. Not everyone at the reunion could enjoy the lake. That is just something to keep in mind here. “I would describe this as an old fashioned lake cottage on a beautiful lake in a very scenic and quiet area. There are a few things in the cottage that are kind of old like the kitchen but it was very clean and and they have done a lot of nice things to it. The photos on the site give you a true picture of the cabin. The outside sitting areas like the area around the fire pit were just perfect for relaxing in the evening. “There are two words that make this property so beautiful, views and details. This property has breathtaking views of the mountains. We were surrounded by hues of yellow and red. Phil and Vikki have paid attention to details to ensure a comfortable stay for their guests. From papers to use as fire starters to diffuser hair dryer attachment, we felt like we were at our own home. Phil was always reachable through phone and the check in and check out instructions were very clear. We loved our stay……
