“We came to the Hideaway for a family cross-country skiing trip - Lapland XC Ski Center is only 20 minutes from this charming and cozy, spacious home, that was absolutely perfect for our two families (4 adults and 5 teenagers 13-17yrs old). “Lovely weekend - House was very nice. Clean and well furnished/amenities. Fire pit in back was nice - firewood is available for a cost - but we found some in the woods. Directions were tough as the map on VRBO is not accurate. Host did reach out about it - but we all drove past it the first time! Appeared to be up near Jockeybush trailhead but was quite a bit south. Overall a lovely place and we had a great weekend.”

“My friend and I stayed in this cottage in September and it was exceptionally cute and cozy. It had everything we needed in the bathroom and kitchen. The beds were so comfortable and the bedding and pillows were perfect! The location was great. Right by Lake Algonquin and nearby several small villages. The owners suggestions were very helpful. We loved the pizza at Oxbow Inn. We also loved the lobster roll at The Local Dining and Spirits in Northville. Had a fun outing in North Creek at……

“This is our second time staying at this property and it was just as good as the first time. The house is extremely clean and spacious. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook your meals. The neighbors are close but everyone is very friendly. We utilized the dock this year because we rented a boat and took advantage of the small beach. The kids had a great time swimming and having s’mores by the fire at night. The Placid Pines Pub is a nice little spot to grab a drink. We hope to……
