“If you are looking for a place to stay to ski at Gore Mountain, this is the place. The drive to the mountain was super easy and is only 18 minutes away. The house itself is a bit dated but charming. The house has everything you need in it. towels, toilet paper, blankets, etc. The doors are solid wood with latches instead of door knobs. “We enjoyed our stay at Stone's Throw. It was a last minute trip so we were thrilled it was available. The house was clean and in good condition when we arrived. The only thing we didn't love was the distance to the shared beach. It's a short 2 minute walk but it's partially down hill and not ideal for carrying kayaks up and down.
