“The location is ideal for traveling to several towns in the area. We did find the sleeper sofa unusable (blocked the exit too much) and the kitchenette was lacking a few expected items. However, the unit was fantastic made for a great family vacation spot. We shall return.”

“This was our 2nd stay here! Very clean, comfortable and cozy! We enjoy being tucked away from Main St. but it’s still close by and the water is not far. ”

“The Salty Sailor was an excellent, affordable, and pet friendly rental. Nice location on ridge rd next to Mr Baldys which is a must to try if you stay here. The rooms are a bit older but maintained well. I didn’t experience any of the conditions that were listed in the other reviews here. We would certainly stay here again.”

“Large kitchen and overall convenient location. Toilet paper holder in bathroom was missing so we had to chase the roll a few times after it fell off the back of the toilet. I'm guessing they can fix that easily. ”

“This was our first time renting this property and will probably be a yearly stay from here on out. It was a great vacation. We appreciated all the little things as well such as, 3-in-1body was for men and women, kitchen supplies like zip lock bags, firewood and propane for the grill. There are a lot more things but that is just some to mention. Our pups really enjoyed the stay as well. ”

The kitchen was well-organized and had everything we needed and the living room was stocked with more games than we knew what to do with, but was not cluttered. The house was extremely clean when we arrived and everything worked as it should. The location is perfect as a base to explore Assateague and Ocean City. We would absolutely stay here again. ”

“We stayed here for several days during Pony Penning Week. The cottage is small, but cute, comfortable, and well appointed. We had a minor plumbing issue on day 2, and our host responded immediately and rectified the problem with no interruption to our plans. AC units in each room kept us cool, despite hot, muggy weather. You'll want bug spray; the mosquitoes are fierce at dawn and dusk. (The island is on a salt marsh after all.) The cottage location is convenient to plenty of restaurants, shops,……
