The proximity and access to Higgins Lake was again just right. On the morning of our departure, we were already discussing our return visit. All in all, Jillian and the cottage were perfect! “We are in love with this property! It was a relaxing, fishing weekend with the family and we all had such a great time. We took our dog, and it was set up to be very pet friendly. She had a doggy door that went outside and a fenced in area, super convenient! The property is so clean, so open and airy, amazing lake views. We loved the beachy vibe and the attention to detail. “Incredible view and communication with property owners make this stay a perfect weekend getaway. The lodge itself was clean, nicely spaced out for everyone to enjoy privacy or to come together for conversation on the deck overlooking the lake or the fire pit. The town is a few minutes away with an ice cream shop, hardware store and an outstanding grocery store with fresh cut meat available if you’re looking to grill/cook. Overall, I highly recommend this rental for a couples or family getaway. ”

The kitchen had every pot and gadget you could ever use. The water pressure in the shower was so strong it was better than ours at home!
