“We had 10 adults and two children (under 3) and this property checked all our boxes for space, privacy, access to 'safe' swimming water and boat access. Truly a perfect spot for a large group that wants to hang together.”

“From the initial booking to checking out the communication with the Hosts was great. My wife and I came up to celebrate our anniversary and birthdays and spent the days riding the trails in our SxS and nights around the bonfire. The cabin was stocked with plenty of games to play like Uno, Connect Four, Sorry and others. Cabin was clean and stocked with all the essentials you would need. The cabin is off grid but you would never know it with how well it operates. The Muskegon river runs through……

The proximity and access to Higgins Lake was again just right. On the morning of our departure, we were already discussing our return visit. All in all, Jillian and the cottage were perfect! “Just got home from our stay at naughty in the woods wow an amazing spot if you’re into using side-by-side or riding the trails at Houghton Lake. Great location, conveniently located by plenty of bars and restaurants auto parts stores and a Walmart. Only 1.2 miles from the Denton Creek trailhead which is a blast. It offers great trails in great scenery. When we got done, we lit a fire outback, and sat and laughed about all the time we had on the trails. We will definitely be back a great spot!”

“Clean & Spacious! What an awesome place to spend a few days making memories. Our favorites were the hammocks, the little creek setting for watching frogs, hummingbirds and other wildlife. And the soft, sandy beach/kayaks put it over the top. We would return in a heartbeat. Thanks Roxie. ”
