“The photos do not do it justice. It’s a charming, very cosy, home with everything you need to relax. Hidden away from the hustle and bustle but near enough to the main town of Whitby. We walked everyday enjoying excellent weather and superb surroundings. The parking is ideal, next to the cottage. It’s one property without ifs/buts and we’ll certainly be back”

“Easy to get to the beach as well as the shops/harbour so great location. Host communicated well and everything we needed was provided. Could do with a shelf in the shower as it is quite tight when needing to bend for shampoo etc. initially a cigarette smell to the property so not sure if previous tenants smoked inside. “We stayed for two nights with our two children to explore Whitby. The cottage is fantastic! Really nicely furnished and well equipped and lovely to look out over the harbour and across to the abbey. “Stayed for 3 nights in May. Managed to park for free on arrival,bonus! Felt a little uncomfortable in the small entrance alley,it seemed quite dirty.The stairs up to the apartment door were cracked and the light was on a sensor which didnt come on until i was on the second step. “The house suited us perfectly: the location is close to the sea with lovely views; the standard of the rooms, facilities etc is outstanding; the host was very helpful. A particularly nice touch is that there was coffee, fruit, a bottle of wine, cakes and biscuits, which made us feel very welcome.We all had a wonderful time even though though the weather wasn't great for the last few days.
