“We stayed in room 8. It was much bigger than what we were expecting. Very comfortable bed and lovely shower. Plenty of tea/coffee/sugar supplied for our stay. Good amount of clothes hangers provided too. Only negative thing was the sofa in the room. It's most definitely seen better days. It was covered with throw overs, which was fine, but after sitting on it , we realised we were covered in small black bits. The throw over had slipped down and revealed the leather peeling off all over. Hence……

“This is a wonderful property and unusual for a hotel with a spa. It is located in the market town of Helmsley which offers a great selection of places to wander to. The hotel has a range of rooms - this time we stayed in a spa suite and couldn’t fault it. A large entrance into a separate living area, a huge bedroom and bathroom with fabulous bath tub and separate shower. Breakfast was delicious with a range of options. The spa is included in the price too, which is another reason to visit this……
