“Cameron (owner) was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the local area, he also prepared a great breakfast. Our room was on the top floor, a comfortable and decent size room and large bathroom, it also had sea views across the harbour Our visit was for a birthday celebration, we were given a card and a bottle of Prosecco in our room which was a nice touch and much appreciated. We would definitely recommend it as a place to stay in Staithes, a good base for visiting the surrounding……

“Cottage was ok but after booking through hotels.com I was contacted by Host & Stay and advised I had to pay an additional fee for a damage waiver. Alternatively I could pay a deposit but they take an admin fee so you don’t get the full amount back plus they state they may take 14 days to refund.”

“It was an amazing place to stay. Staff were courteous friendly and professional. The room I stayed in was clean and really comfortable. I couldn't fault them. ”

“Wow - we were blown away by this feast for the eyes! I fully appreciate that the decor at the hotel won’t appeal to everyone (art is after all subjective) but, as a photographer myself and with my art loving husband, we found our two night stay here to be a fitting and beautiful end to our three week tour of the North! “St Hildas is a lovely place to stay. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are decorated and equipped to a high standard. I took a gamble and stayed in the Las Vegas room, but fortunately it payed off and I feel like a winner!”
