“Had a wonderful stay at a wonderful pub. Location is perfect and character of the pub is amazing. Lovely locally brewed beer and great food. Bad timing on our part that the brewery was closed so couldn't do the tour but gives u great excuse to go back. ”

“Our stay was lovely: the manageress, bar staff and waitresses were all welcoming. They provided information about the local area and showed interest when we returned after our days out. We stayed three nights in a very comfortable room, with a good selection at breakfast. We ate in one evening which very tasty. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Modern, fresh, well maintained hotel. Clean, quiet, spacious rooms with plenty of charging stations and outlets. Super nice bath with massive soaking tub. Excellent on-site restaurant. What is most noteworthy is the very professional, well trained and delightful staff in both the hotel and the restaurant! Would stay at Sandburn Hall again and would recommend it to a friend. ”

“One of my favourite places to stay that possibly has a ghost ! Five minutes walk from the bs and train station and the beer is kept just right Large rooms at a reasonable price, but could do with a portable fan for hot weather and the bedside lamps in room 1 did not work Lively Karaoke on a Friday evening and room I was given I could people watch . Pice it can’t be beaten and I’d rate it 9 out of 10 as the hallway toilet could do with redecorating ”
