“This cabin was perfect for our mini vacation. The owners made sure we had everything we needed. The first night we decided to use the grill and unfortunately ran out of propane, thankfully it was only hotdogs..Brant and Sophia made sure we had a fresh tank right away. We had a great time staying at the Woodlawn lake cabin. Such a great time that we may want to book another stay there in the near future. Thanks again Brant and Sophia, your place is an absolute gem!! ”

“Very nice, cozy updated, clean cabin. We checked in with Eric a couple times, he was very pleasant. Only issue we had was google maps took us to a different location a few times when we were checking in. Eric helped us find Our Cabin right away.We went to fish and were very successful. We had fun catching a few big ones and a lot of small ones.It was a very relaxing wonderful vacation staying at Our Cabin!”

“We had 7 adults in our group. The house is very comfortable, the dining table was great (giving us plenty of space to play board games in the evenings), and the kitchen was well stocked. We were able to store our bicycles in the garage (which helped because it rained hard during the night). They have a good lawn space for games and the dock and outdoor seating areas are lovely. Burnet Island State Park is minutes away and beautiful. We highly recommend the ice cream at Dylan’s Dairy in Cornell.……

“Large relaxing space to be with family between planned events. Enjoyed the open areas with bar like kitchen area. Sat outside one evening with a fire. Loved it. ”

“Despite the record heat, the AC kept the cabin cool and the lake was a great way to cool off outside. Loved the historic but well equipped kitchen. The only comment would be there is no internet or cell service. But for me that is a plus.”

“We had a great time staying at Turner’s Retreat. The host was great. He is communicative, accommodating and generous-we were included in the July 4th festivities, live band, raffle, firework show, and got to spend time on their pontoon. The kids loved the beach, and playground which are a short walk across the street. There is also a restaurant near the beach that has really good food. The property is clean and we enjoyed spending time around the fire table, cooking on the grill and just……

“We spent a week with our family and the cabin was absolutely perfect! The weather was not the greatest lots of rain and storms, but we made the most of it. Caught plenty of fish right from the dock and also from our boat. Enough fish for two fish fry’s for 6 people. Skied, tubed and kayaked in between the rain. The view and water frontage can not be beat! The kids loved having their own space in the bunkhouse. Peggy was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had. The only thing……
