“Derek and Fiona are the best hosts I hv ever met. Though we arrive late, they had no issue at all and came out to receive us warmly and welcoming. The room is absolutely fantastic, neat and tidy. Can see they put a great deal of efforts to decorate them. Feeling very homey :)”

“We loved this little cottage out in the Sticks or as we say "The Twillies". It was comfortable and cute. Make sure you know there is no wifi within the cabin. It is a good ways outside of Inverness but close to the Rogie fall and the Singleton (Muir of Ord) distillery. Super fun and quiet! Bigfoot did not find us here! Beautiful scenery around the cabin.”

“Impressive ! Phone line reachable & able to help bçs my flight delay 9hrs. Driving 270Km, I was 5min late, staff no complaint even they said wait me till 11:00pm ! Spaces room. Grand hotel inside both paintings, furniture with good match. Like stay at a small castle. Traditional Scottish restaurant, cosy, good food. Friendly greeting staffs. Big laund in front ... so good!”

“Everything was better than expected and went smooth as silk. The room layout was quirky in the best of ways! Not a simple rectangle box - more like a suite - bedroom, bathroom, a teeny entry foyer, a couple of steps separating all three. In the heart of Inverness Center (Centre, if you prefer). Everything a tourist could want is within a short walk. The booking said unstaffed/no front desk; however, their was a Hootananny rep, familiar with our reservation and gave us an easy welcome - who……

“The property is set in a residential area, so not right off a major transport road, but quiet & safe, which was great. The main building is beautiful with lovely common areas & a gorgeous dining conservatory serving a really nice breakfast. The welcome upon check-in was warm & accommodating, with the manager taking us to our room in order to deliver offered milk for hubby’s morning coffee. Our room was spacious with a lovely little table & chairs on a small porch out a door, overlooking a serene……
