“The home was just as advertised. The bedrooms very comfortable and lots of things for the kids to do and keep busy. We enjoyed our stay.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and ready for us to settle in. There were plenty of bath towels, hand soap, dish soap, etc. The beds were comfortable and there were good amenities. Kitchen was well stocked. I'd recommend adding a cheese grater and measuring spoons though. :) There is a loft with 4 beds and a couple of couches. Great place for kids to hang. We loved the enclosed porch that faced the lake. Thanks! We'll be back!”

“It was our second time staying at Cowdry Cabin and met our needs relative to business and pleasure. We appreciate that it is pet friendly and we have yet to bring our pets but hope that will occur next time. Managers are very responsive to calls or texts when help is needed.”

“House had everything we could need for our family of 6. Lots of dishes, nice appliances, and enough sleeping room for all. We loved fishing off the dock, using the kayaks, enjoyed water sports on the lake, and nice that the location was close to a gas station, restaurants (Leaf Valley Mercantile and Old Mill were both great!), and a boat ramp. Definitely want to try out Carlos Creek Winery and 22 Northmen next time!”

“Nice home - well equipped kitchen and nice to have beach towels included. Private outdoor yard and deck. The kiddos had fun catching fish from the dock and we enjoyed use of the canoe and kayaks. Unfortunately the lake was very high and churned up so swimming off the dock was not desirable. There is a state park close by (1.5 mi) that had a nice beach space. Two things to note. Indoor eating and gathering spaces are tight for large groups. Also the stairs to the loft are open which was scary……

“This was a perfect getaway location. It was quiet and peaceful and allowed good bonding time with my family. The host has such a neat vibe/theme to the cabin and left a note and snacks for us to enjoy during our stay. All the main amenities/essentials were provided. The check in and check out process was slick and easy.Highly recommend! ”

“We found this gem when looking for accommodations for family that were coming from out of town for a funeral in Willmar. There were 4 couples and multiple young adults and children, and we all had a bed, bathroom and privacy for a great price. The large indoor open spaces and backyard firepit were great for everyone to gather, unwind, and hangout. The host was great with answering my many questions within minutes. The cabin was as listed, we had all necessities and the listing was accurate……
