“This place gave us just what we wanted...an immersive jungle experience complete with Squirrel and Capuchin monkeys, lots of birds including a daily visit from a roadside Hawk, giant Cane Toads and other frogs, and toucans and macaws flying over. “Generally positive experience. The house was not as isolated as we anticipated. In fact there was a fair amount of traffic on the rough road behind. Lots of bird life - especially macaws. And lots of monkeys. The beach is not really a swimming beach because of the rocky bottom, but Matapalo beach is only about a 25 minute walk away. We stayed three nights, which was enough.
