“We were very lucky to find this property. Was 2 blocks away from family who live in the neighborhood. We did not need to cook meals there. If so, we would have found a place with a range as this one did not have one. Owners were easy to get a hold of and anything we needed was there in a timely manner. “The Blake cottage is perfectly located in downtown Pensacola. You can drive to the beach in about 15-20 minutes, dig your toes in the sand and soak up the sun. “Very very cute cottage! Looks newley renovated, very clean, had everything we personally needed. It was easy talking to the property manager on VRBO. They replied back in reasonable times. The only thing I would say is I wished it had curtains on the front door for a little more privacy. It is a good distance from the beach, but if you want affordable that isn’t on the beach, this was a good option. It’s close to restaurants and stores. “I can’t say enough good things about this stay! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. “Overall it's a great rental. It is a little small, but very cute and has a great yard. The only downsides are that none of the yard is fenced in, so if you are bringing pets they will need to stay on a leash. Also because the rental is through a third party, I was unable to communicate with anyone until given the rental details that included contact information for the cleaner but you don't get this information until 3 days prior to your reservation date. “The owner was very good at communicating. It's a cute little place to stay near the beach but also close to downtown so you can enjoy both! “The house was exactly as described. it was in an excellant location for us, in between all the items we wanted to see. The house sits right on the Perdido Bay, so relaxing listening to the waves when it was windy.We are actually thinking about going back to area, just becase of Hart's Cottage. It was so relaxing.”
