“Great place for a weekend getaway. We brought our dog and the fenced yard was awesome to have for him to run around and play! Perfect location, only about a 5 minute drive into the town where shops/restaurants are. We used the golf cart multiple times each day as well, it was a great bonus to have! Lake Huron was only a couple of blocks away, within walkable distance, or a short golf cart ride! The home even had a few condiments, snacks, etc that I assume are shared with renters. “Being right on the water was lovely. We watched the sun set every evening and had a bonfire just feet from the water. The house was extremely clean and I enjoyed opening all the windows for a beautiful breeze off the water. I haven’t slept that well in a long time. ”

“We loved our stay at this comfortable and beautifully decorated cottage. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. Everything we needed was provided. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The only issue we had was that there wasn’t a great view of the lake, yet it was an easy one block walk to the lake and a cute small beach. We’d stay there again, in a heartbeat.”

“This little cottage is so cute and perfect for just two people. It's close to so many local places (Lakeview donut shop was sadly closed and for sale) and walking distance from the water! The hot tub is a nice touch and although its not covered and there's neighbors, it still felt pretty private/relaxing. If you like coffee/tea I highly recommend Lexington Coffee Co and for a good burger and/or good fish and chips, Lakeport Tavern is a must-their service was awesome too!! Id love to return to……

“Mike the owner was great and lives just down the road if any issues arise…he’s super nice and helpful…place is a great location for fishing…the dock was the best part with easy access to shore power…Mike has all the bumpers and rope already in place for you…smaller boats can slip under the bridge in the canal next to the place and hit the bay in just minutes…parking is tight for one truck and trailer but otherwise a great place…several good local eatery’s close by…you can even Doordash to the……

“This property/house was exactly what we needed! Beautiful stay in the country! Loved the front porch sitting and watching the deer/turkeys during dinner. ”

“We loved our stay! The house set up was perfect for us. The water and outdoor space were wonderful. I would definitely recommend water shoes or crocs if you plan to get in the water. It is rocky along the shore, but once you get past that, there is sand. Be sure to catch a sunrise while you are there!”

“The house was perfect. Perfectly located in Anchor Bay for a may fishing. It is very close to restaurants and the ramps. Only four of us stayed here on this trip but would be comfortable for 6 people. You can very easily park three 21ft bass boats in the driveway. The house was very clean and well kept. If the weather is nice I would feel very comfortable docking my boat in the canal overnight. We will be renting here again. ”
