“Our first time at SML did not disappoint. Cabin was comfortable for the 3 of us and our pup. It was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and enjoy them on the deck. We spent a lot of time at the dock/floating dock relaxing, reading, swimming (yes it was cold!!), and soaking in the sun. We brought our canoe and paddleboard and the quiet no wake cove was perfect for paddling and exploring. A great place to unwind and get away from it all. Two things to note: bring sheets……

“Stunning home on Smith Mountain Lake. Our group of friends came and had a restful weekend away. Loved the kayaks, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, and the view! The host was AMAZING with communication and was incredibly kind. Highly recommend this house!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed this out of the way property for some peace and quiet. My husband really enjoyed this cove where he could safely maneuver his way along the shore line to watch for wildlife. The cabin was just right and well stocked with everything we needed! ”

“What an amazing quick getaway! Hubby and I just wanted to spend some quality time together. We had the most relaxing time walking the property or staying indoors and enjoying the view but we also caught a movie and went to the Booker T. Washington monument and plantation. Easy check in, comfortable stay with perks from the host. Overall great stay!”

“Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Cozy house. The back deck is gated which made it a great place to sit with our dogs. ”

“Quiet cozy cabin with beautiful views to lake. Really enjoyed fishing off the dock and kayaking! Everything was clean and as described. Beds were comfortable. Definitely would return. Neighborhoods are close, but we had no problems. ”

“The house was very nice and new. The kitchen was well equipped to make meals for our group of 12. The different outdoor spaces were very nice for relaxing. We enjoyed the dock. Loved multiple fridges!Suggestions: The house could use blinds at the windows you get morning and afternoon sun. We had to wear sunglasses to eat and no privacy. Also, need a few more cleaning items. It would have been nice to have a mop and spray cleaner to clean after you cooked.Also the pool was dirty upon arrival, and……
