“What a little treasure this cottage is! Amazing views of the mountains and lake with great water access. Pros: Scenic views, walk-in water access (great for kids/dogs), water toys (2 kayaks, 2 SUPs, 1 canoe), lovely dock to lounge on (plenty of seating with hammocks, outdoor table, polywood chairs), firepit great for s'mores, foosball table in the basement (a hit with the kids), stocked kitchen with items you need (crock pot and the basics), beautiful vaulted ceilings in living room, enjoyable……

“The house was a great little find in a beautiful part of Virginia. We loved it, our dogs loved it, and the host made it extra special. Brittney was available with quick responses to all our questions and she made the house feel so welcoming with cute baskets full of snacks and games. We will definitely be back!”

“First problem was the lock box combo is wrong. We came when it was just getting dark. My wife and I tried the combo multiple time’s still would not unlock. We had to use the emergency key. From what the neighbor was saying the lockbox has been broken for a while and still it’s not fixed Second problem, bathroom sink was clogged up had to plunge it to get all the hair and everything out of it It’s not quite unclogged, but good enough to get the water to drain maybe some Drano or clean out the……

“We really enjoyed the three nights we spent at this property. We initially ran into some issues with VRBO, but the host, John, was very kind and accommodating. Updated interior photos of the cottage would serve to benefit the listing. I'd say the current photos do not show the full scope of the space or amenities.
