“This is a remarkable property tucked into the woods just west of Carbondale. Beautifully appointed. Gorgeous screened-in wrap around porch. Amazing bedrooms with en-suite baths. This was a very comfortable weekend retreat for our family. Would definitely book again!”

“This VRBO was new and swaggy! The decorating was impeccable! I wish I had her taste! We came down for a tour of the Shawnee Wine Trail and do some hiking and this house is perfectly located in the center of it all. It is a hop skip and jump from Giant City State Park which has fabulous hiking and really close to Cobden and Makanda both adorable little towns. Blue Sky Winery was our favorite after visiting 4 of the local wineries. We also enjoyed her outdoor living space on the back patio……

“The common area is SO cute and the studio was immaculate, well cared for, and had everything we could need. I would absolutely recommend staying here. The hosts were thoughtful, helpful and easy to reach. We didn’t have any issues, but they checked in to make sure everything was as expected. Don’t miss your chance to stay here. ”

“Very impressed with this house. The owners have made this house so nice with a great amount of space for our group of 9 adults! There is a nice dining room for board game playing, a nice screened back porch, hot tub, and even a fire pit and chairs. It’s not easy to find a space like this with 5 bedrooms and the nice attention to detail that this house has. It was also very convenient to the winery trail and bourbon bar in the area. “Ashley was always quick to respond with questions that I had! We had everything we needed and the house was ready for us! The kitchen was an open concept with the living room, which was very nice! The house situated on a dead end and it was very quiet and peaceful! Nice to set on the front porch where you could see the lake and watch the deer! Would definitely recommend this nice home!”
