“Has been updated since last time we were there. Family in the area so just need beds. Last time was very dated, new fridge, microwave, furniture, bed spreads. Much fresher. A bit of peeling wallpaper in bathroom but everything was fine. No 5 star place but clean place to lay your head and only pet friendly place in town.”

“We stayed for a few days at Richard's House. We enjoyed our stay very much, the breakfast was vast and delicious. The owners are very friendly. We stayed in the bedroom that you can see in the photograph, it is large and very comfortable with a very nice bathroom. I highly recommend the place. It was cost effective!”

“When I first walked into the office it smelled clean and looked clean. Thats was a gear sign. Front desk was very kind. I went to my room and it smelled great. Itnlolke perfect. Im happy I stayed here. It was very cheap and better than any other place. I travel a lot. This place is a gem. I stayed at a different hotel last night and you couldnt pay me to sleep at that horrible place ever again. I will stay here every time I come to Dubuque now.”

“We enjoy Hampton Inns, however this one was under construction and really torn up. I think the contractor(s) for the work could have done a much better job for the business without tearing up So much at one time. It took a bit away from our stay. ”
