“We loved this house by the pictures. However it seems unfinished to be a guest house for people who ski. There is no place to put or hang any of your ski gear. Making us walk on their hardwood floor seemed not thought out. There is not enough seating in the living room for everyone to sit comfortably or even put down a drink, the deck had more seating but it is winter. There is only 1 heating zone. So we couldn’t use the large room in the basement because it was to cold while the 2nd floor……

“Had everything we needed, quiet and scenic spot to explore the lake, state park, fall color, and northern lights. The porch was a great spot to watch ducks and loons in the morning and sit in the sun. The cabin was well stocked (kitchen items, linens, firewood, games) and was a great spot for a lazy day too. Megan was very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay!”

“My husband and I stayed for the first time at Steel cabin this weekend as part of our annual fall trip up north. The location was very close by to everything we wanted to do, and the views from the property were outstanding!! The hosts were super nice and wrote to offer an earlier check in time as the cabin was ready early. Very clean throughout the cabin...the shower and all appliances looked brand new. The bed was the most comfortable bed we had ever slept in. We would go back just for……

“Small cozy cabin, nice area, a bit loud because is right in front of the main road, bathroom was not clean, i booked 3 Adults and got one cabin with a small bed, unable to rest, reached out host no answer.”

“Overall was good, recommend having a dish drainer & toaster and T-stat control for renters, it got cold at night when the temp went down and discovered the t-stat was programmed to 63 at night.”

“Loved it! The isolation is exactly what we needed. I enjoyed keeping the wood stove going and checking on the solar and generator personally. Would recommend to anyone to listen to John's directions exactly...dont trust your gps(although we found Google Maps and Waze to work perfect)..the cabin is on a dead end private road in the mountains...our friends found that apple maps sent them down a snow mobile trail, luckily a wrecker was able to get to them and tow them out. Endless trails and forest……
