“The location is perfect if you are wanting to explore Temple Bar! You can definitely hear people partying pretty late but that didn’t bother us, it comes with the location. The room is also quite small but my partner and I are both on the smaller side so we were good with that too. In addition, the staff was absolutely amazing and you had to scan your card to get to the floor your room was on so we definitely felt very safe (Dublin itself felt really safe to us in general). I had the best sleep……
“I loved my stay here! The room was gorgeous and full of unique touches— the Nespresso machine and Dyson hair dryer were my favorites. I would definitely stay here again! ”
“beautiful classic setting, in close proximity of the city and the Aviva stadium.
Rooms are compact, but smartly done. Everything you need for a short stay.
Rooms are single glazed, and therefore quite fresh at night.”
“The hotel was fantastic, staff were friendly and helpful.
Location was great with shopping and bars a short walk away but far enough to keep the area around the hotel quiet.
Beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable I would have no hesitation staying here on future visits to Dublin.”
“Thebhotel and room were dated and room air-conditioning was poor. The sink in the hand bath was blocked and water ran slow. Toom is a bit dark. For almost 500 pounds a night i woild stay in the Premium inn next”
“We would definitely stay at The Davenport again. We liked the location near Merrion Square- a little away from the crowds in Grafton St /Temple Bar area, but still very walkable to those places. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, lots of choices. We quite enjoyed our stay. ”
“We are very disappointed the arrangement of hotel. They give the disable room to us and our feeling is very bad. The bathroom water is not hot enough for taking shower. ”
“Beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely quiet area. Extremely comfy bed, great shower and an excellent breakfast menu. Plus the staff were all very attentive. Would highly recommend! ”
“We had a great stay, the staff and friendly and helpful and the hotel has a bus stop on the doorstep which made getting into and back from town very easy.
Also short walk from plenty of nice pubs, restaurants (such as Table 45) and the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre”
“Very clean and friendly staff. No air conditioner in room but temperature outside rarely gets above 70 so we opened the windows. It was a little warm but hotel is very nice and in a good area. The restaurant and bar area was also nice. The staff was friendly and the food was good!”
“Beautiful, private property located in safe walkable part of Dublin. The staff are all lovely and helpful. The garden is a delight. But the gem is the fabulous breakfast created every morning with love by chef Delia. ”
“The rooms very exceptionally clean and comfortable. The shower was fantastic (great water pressure). It was an easy walk to anything in Dublin City centre. The staff were welcoming and friendly.”
