“Only a couple things to complain about- the vending machines weren’t working or full and parking was definitely not easy when you go during prime snowmobile season! Overall it was a beautiful place. Met lots of new people and the staff were great and willing to work with us when we had to leave early. We would definitely stay here again probably when it’s a little warmer!”

“I was looking for an affordable motel in Grand Marais and the Aspen Inn met my needs perfectly. The room offered a HDTV with access to Direct TV, Tubi, and other streaming providers, a decent sized fridge, a comfortable king sized bed, and a table and chairs for dining. The motel included continental breakfast with Kureg coffee abd tea, cereal, yogurt, bagels, etc. The next time I am looking for a place to stay in Grand Marais, I will look for a room at the Aspen Inn first.”

“I was upset that the TV was not working for the first 7 days we were there. We wanted to watch some of the Scotties curling on TV as seniors we can't always attend 3 games a day and usually pick which 2 to go to and which one we will watch on TV. It was frustrating to rest in your room and nothing to watch. Being senior, senior we are not up on all the newest technology for streaming, still count on TVs. I thought we would have received a discount but even when I asked for a print out of my bill……

“Very nice, comfortable stay with a lovely view of Lake Superior and walking distance to everything in Grand Marais. The self check-in directions were very straightforward as was checkout. It was really nice to have someone send me a text message thanking me for my stay and reminding me of the checkout time and directions. Will absolutely be back!”
