“Farrah was wonderful and made it fun. She told us the best places to eat and even took us to the Saloon where the locals like to go listen to live music. This experience was truly like being with friends instead of hotels that just make you feel that you are just an unknown room number.”

Even the house cats seem relaxed, as they casually study the guests and decide to offer you their welcome. The surroundings, from decor to bed linens are sumptuous, and the overall feeling is one of quiet discovery as you imagine yourself living there in a different century.”

The live-in owner is a wonderful gentleman who greeted us at breakfast and conversed with us about local history. We were also treated to a tour of the property after breakfast. It was quiet and convenient to everything: beautiful Bluffs, restaurants, Visitors Center. Could have been cleaner, especially the old period furniture, but otherwise very good. We’d definitely come back.”
