“Our stay at the cottage was excellent. Check-in was easy and the location was perfect for our family as we were there to visit the caverns. The beds were comfortable and the game room was a nice addition to keep our kids busy. The cottage is in close proximity to restaurants, fast food, and grocery store/market. We forgot a few items and it was nice to run to Walmart quickly to pick a few things up. I'm not sure if this is typical, but I would advise on your bringing your own loofah or……

“We had a great time at the Depot Loft. The place was extremely clean and cared for. Nicely renovated old store on 1st Street giving a great view of the railroad depot which has deep history in the town. We spend the week touring Shenandoah National Park, Grand Caverns, and the surrounding area and the location provided easy access to everything. If we come back this way, we would stay hear again!”

The apartment is on the second floor, accessed by a long flight of stairs. This is not a problem for our party, but it is important to know if you have mobility issues.”

You're just remote enough to feel alone but close enough to civilization to be convenient. The location is great so close to the different caverns and all the hikes at Skyline Drive. “First the owner said to cancel on my end so he didn’t get penalized- then told me he would get back to me if the home was available and then never responded. VRBO has been terrible to deal with and I’ve had to escalate to a manager at this point. I’ll Never book with VRBO again! This was awful”

“Very basic amenities. No shampoo or soap. No extra towels or trash bags. If your house accomodates 6 people, the kitchen should have enough to cook for 6 (only small pans, no casserole dishes, etc). Some things were dirty and filter needed replacing in the water system in fridge, and the hand soap in the downstairs bath was filled with water. Other soap containers refilled with different soap, so hard to tell ingredients for allergies. I will say the house is close to a lot of things in Luray……
