The guest house itself is spacious while also managing to feel incredibly cozy. The property is well kept, both inside and out. Everything was very clean, and the house had everything we needed. The shower and bed are top notch. The thing that really stood out to us was how private it is for being so close to Bar Harbor and Acadia.……

“The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden……

“This cabin is really just part of a group of cabins near Bar Harbor. The difference between this and the ones you can book on like Expedia is that this has a hot tub. It's very cozy, and the inside of the cottage is super cute. However, two things stuck out that really soured the experience for us. Firstly, we heard nothing about how we were supposed to check in leading up to our stay. We ended up just going to the office, which makes sense, but it gave us some anxiety around if we actually had……

“We just got back from a week long stay at the Baycliff cabin and it was lovely. We had our pup with us(very pet friendly)Kevin was great to communicate with. We got into the area a little earlier than check in time and he was quick to accommodate us with an early check in. The grounds are beautiful and the proximity is very close to the town of Bar Harbor, the restaurants, shops, excursions and Acadia Park,supermarket,etc. Beds are made, towels are stocked, plenty of pots,pans,plates,utensils……

“Overall the cottage stay was fine. It was clean. The bathroom could definitely use a makeover - everything worked and there was plenty of hot water but it’s old. No extra towels were provided. The kitchen was newly renovated but it’s tiny. There’s a tiny refrigerator and no oven. And there are very few utensils, just the bare minimum. We stayed for three nights and cooked or prepared all of our meals there. The location to the park is very good. And overall it’s a totally acceptable……

“We had such a lovely time at this cabin. There was more than enough space for everyone to be on their own and to gather together for meals and games. I think we used just about every amenity here - even had a momentous tether ball game or two! We were only a short walk to the ocean for some excellent sunsets after dinner. The hosts were wonderful and friendly and it was nice to have them so close "just in case." I strongly recommend this rental when you are heading to Bar Harbor. We drove a few……

“We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at Loon Song Cottage. The cottage has a screened front porch, which you don't see often in vacation rentals. (So many times I have wished that we could keep the front door open, but can't without a screen.) The cottage is nice and new, and very clean. “We had an absolutely beautiful week in the beach cottage. The setting is stellar, the cabin is adorable and we slept with the doors wide open, lulled to sleep by the gentle waves. We swam and fished off the dock, had cocktails at sunset and coffee in the Adirondack chairs as the sun came up. Just an idyllic week, we are already dreaming about coming back!”

“This was our second stay at Rocky Wood Cabin. It is a beautifully rustic (but with all the modern amenities), low level lighting cabin that sits only a few minutes from the highway. It is a great place to relax, rejuvenate in nature, stargaze, read, play games and enjoy life. After our first visit, we knew we would want to stay again. Everything about the property is perfect.
