“Great host and wonderful location. ”

“Lovely place to stay for a country Maine experience, and very accessible to Acadia’s hiking trails (Giant Slide Trail, challenging boulder scramble!). Well-stocked kitchen (spices galore) and living room (games, books). We didn’t find coffee or toiletries but brought our own. Instructions were very clear. Property owner was very responsive with communications. Abel’s Lobster Pound nearby was a superbly scenic place to enjoy a delicious dinner and refreshing drinks the first night! ”

“This is a wonderful (old) house with lots of space. The bedrooms are nicely separate, making it perfect for any group of people that would like some level of privacy. The outdoor fire pit is especially nice. It is 25-30 minute distance from Acadia and Bar Harbor, which we did not find an obstacle. It has a large dinging room table perfect for dinner and games. The kitchen is well furnished. Really perfect for a family visit to Acadia. ”

“The house was nice and the owner was great to deal with, she provided a lot of local knowledge on things to do. I will say that it is on a surprisingly busy road. But the horses were great and the family loved to give them apple slices and carrots. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. Also it’s not too far from Bar Harbor and Arcadia.”
