“We had a wonderful stay at the Lakes. It’s such a beautiful setting with so many activities on offer including a spa. We ate in the restaurant and it really is an experience- the food and service were outstanding. Bedrooms are beautiful - decor and furnishings. Guest services were very helpful both prior to arrival and on the day. We we definitely be back! ”

“Brilliant, I did leave a review on Google maps also. But I really enjoyed this stay. Me (m19) and my partner (F18) decided to go on a whim and book somewhere nice on Saturday night.
It was a nice idea as we got out of her parents house. We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment was clean with a nice bathroom, kitchen, living area and bedroom. We cooked ourselves a meal and had a nice bath before heading out.
It's literally on the doorstep of town so everything you need is within walking……

“City centre location was amazing. Our apartment 10 had amazing view of the city as it towers over most buildings. Everything you need is there. Really easy check in and out . Commutation was great from lovey staff. We had a phone call the day before and after we check in. ”

“A busy weekend for a family wedding, but The Milk House was the perfect place to come back to and rest. Very relaxing and peaceful. “Lovely functioning mildly old school cabin in the middle of the country side. Very comfortable bed. We found everything we needed. Our dogs were content. Very quiet. “The apartment is beautifully decorated and of a high standard. The location was perfect for us - lots of shops and restaurants nearby as well as attractions. Bud and train station are also convenient although we didn’t use them. Paid parking lot is right across the street. Overall we loved it here !”

“This was an amazing place to stay. If you are looking for an authentic "room above a country pub" experience. This is the place. It does have old pub quirks, the floors arent very level, and the access upstairs is challenging. But the charm of the beams and windows is undeniable. The apartment was beautifully decorated, and if you're into art, this places hums with it. We loved our time here. And its location means its easy to explore Gloustershire and South Wales. ”
