“Well run hotel in excellent location, with good parking and nice breakfast / restaurant / bar / outdoor seating. The hotel (or at least part of it) is a grade 2 listed building (dating from 1595). As a result the rooms are quite variable in size and some are up a very steep staircase, so beware when booking. Bar had 3 handpump ales which was a pleasant surprise. Excellent breakfast and evening menus. Town centre is a short 5 minute walk. Overall we were very happy with our stay.”

“Stayed here for two nights while visiting Bath. Loved the room (named "Jake") with its compact space and the layout between the room and the bathroom. You just can't get places that have character like this in the States. Ate dinner both nights in the restaurant which was very good. On both nights (weeknights) the restaurant was full. “We have stayed at Dorian House before so recommended it to our friends as a group booking (8 of us) to celebrate our 50th birthdays. We went for an executive room (6) Tallis. The room was beautiful with a lovely big bed and great view out of the quirky windows overlooking Bath. The welcome and the breakfast were both excellent. The issue we had was with the bathroom. “Fantastic place to stay. I used to stay here monthly on business as it is a pub with a high calibre standard for customer services. The food is outstanding and rooms are outstandingly clean, well provided with a Bluetooth speaker, Flat screen tv, seats and a coffee pod machine. The breakfast in the morning is a 1st class with fresh ingredients, toast and or coffee and juice. I used to stay before Covid. Haven’t been back since and the service is still top notch!!”
