“Took a quick weekend getaway with my pup, the home is very comfortable and cozy and rustic which is just up my alley! Really enjoyed the solitude but felt quite safe if there were any surprises. Very nice hiking trails within 20-30 min drive, but there’s also a lot of nature and exploration opportunities on the property so it’s really unnecessary to leave at all if you have your food. Highly recommend!”

“First the property was as represented -- this has not always been my experience. It is not exactly close to anything, but then not that far from lots of stuff. We fished in Tenn, one hour; Grandfather Mt, 30 min; Blowing Rock about an hours; drive on Parkway, 10 min.; Little Switzerland, 30 minutes; ate at Louise's Rockhouse, 15 minutes. With gate fell secure leaving stuff at the house when away. Definitely consider renting again.”

“Plenty of room for our large group. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views! Very well stocked with shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper and paper towels, dishwasher tabs, and laundry detergent - all those little things you don’t want to have to worry about bringing on vacation. Great supply of linens too - including some outdoor towels for the hot tub. We cooked large meals each night of our stay, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. We had fun skiing at Hatley Pointe - and the house was……
